'Son of a bitch! Am I gonna die at the hands of a killer clown that has his fucking fly open?!'

---

Wyatt was just minding his own business, crawling on the road of Life, barely hanging on. Suddenly, his life is turned upside down by a stupid stale trend.

Saved by an unknown man, he and his equally stupid friends try to discover: what happened that night, what changes are happening to Wyatt, and figure out who this man is.

There are more to this world than one might know, because they only ever come out in the dark...

--

Otherwise known as, "God deemed me worthy enough to live another day, so I'm gonna make it everyone's problem :D".

"You know, I'm sure all the debutant balls and coronations or whatever can get pretty boring. Are you even capable of having fun?" I raised my voice so she could hear as she walked out the door, but she stood, holding it open. She turned around and I stopped in my tracks. She looked at me as if she were searching for something, and I found myself holding my breath. Stunning. Her pink lips parted, about to say something, but a buzzing sound came from her purse. She pulled out her phone and frowned at the screen. "Goddamnit," she muttered and put her phone away, looking back up at me. Her green eyes met mine for the last time, cold and annoyed. Her light eyelashes framed them as she squinted, and her stare held me in a trance. "Good luck with all that, Mr. Devlin." And she left. ... ... ... Whimsical, unserious Jake, and short-tempered, privileged Winnie find themselves cleaning out her recently deceased grandfather's apartment. His belongings reveal that he wasn't the boring, old man she assumed he was, and his activities while he was alive could put Jake and Winnie at risk. Helpless and isolated, they have no choice but to rely on each other, to trust one another. ... ... ... This is a slow burn, has secondary characters, and side quests. If you're into books that feel like you are watching eight seasons of television, than you will enjoy this! Sage Gibson wasn't prepared for his whole existence to be uprooted and moved away. He didn't love his life, but that didn't mean he wouldn't miss it. Now he's in a small town where he pretends not to notice the looks some people give him. Maybe it's the painted finger nails? He doesn't care all that much. He's too busy trying to figure himself out and how much of his past is affecting him. With his family to worry about and his own personal puzzle that is his mind, he doesn't have time to care about what people at school think of him. He's happy enough with his one new friend and gawking at her hot brother. (He will never admit that last part out loud.) That's all he needs. And if said hot brother wants to become friends too? Well, he won't complain. Marc Yamasaki is normally a quiet guy. He doesn't like to talk too much and everyone has just accepted that. He doesn't have much to say, so why try? He's too tired of trying to get people to care. When a new boy shows up, suddenly his interest is piqued. The freckled face boy is good at basketball and he's a little cute. Sure, he likes to talk a lot, but Marc finds it oddly adorable. The only slight problem is his hesitation to join the team, and the fact that he might be flirting with Aria, Marc's sister. He can't tell if he wants to hate or like this guy. Then he finds out he's gay? Cherry on top. So, what happens when the two boys get closer while playing basketball? Their friendship gets to feeling a little... odd. What will they become when a new tension starts to settle over them?

Haunted by prophetic dreams and armed with nothing but sarcasm, a glitchy moral compass, and a stolen handgun, 17-year-old Gabriel is trying to outrun the apocalypse-literally. With bombs falling, faith collapsing, and mysterious forces twisting reality, Gabe is thrust into a war he predicted but no one believed. Alongside a runaway with too many secrets and a scent like sin, Gabe becomes a reluctant prophet in a world governed by sins, secrets, and systemic collapse. But prophecy comes at a price. And some dreams don't wait for morning to come true. Cracked Earth is a fast-paced, darkly humorous descent into a fractured world where Heaven and Hell are corporate franchises, your best friend might be Wrath in disguise, and the only thing more dangerous than a lost cause... is hope.
