Altia is a teenage girl who has a crush on a beautiful boy, and jealousy towards a girl prettier than her. She has enough to eat, but no money to spare. She lives in a small house with her mother, her father and her little brother called Damon. She's just a normal girl from District Two. Except she can't fight.
Despite living in Two, a Career district, Altia couldn't hurt a fly to save her life. She inherited her fathers talent for healing, and has been brought up knowing how to heal, not kill. She can handle most weapons adequately -everyone in Two can, training's compulsory, but there's no way she could use them on someone.
But Altia's name's in the Reaping more than most, she's one of the few people who's had to get tesserae...

Asleep: A Hunger Games Tale
Lynnia wasn't like most girls; no, she was a dreamer. She dreamed of a better future for herself, her family, and her friends. This was all put to the test, however when her name was drawn in the reaping ceremony for the 66th Hunger Games. Lynnia was no stranger to the Hunger Games, she knew personally how it affected the families of the fallen tributes with her older brother having been a tribute when she was a child, but Lynnia was determined to succeed. To do this she must face all odds to come out a Victor while also worrying about how she can still keep her dreams alive. Maybe along the way she just might discover there are other ways play the games and maybe she just might find a friend or two along the way. I do not own the Hunger Games or the characters from the books. I just love the story and have for a long time. I do own Lynnia and her family as well as her story.

Tatum Harris lives in District 2. The District is full of anticipatation as the reapings are right around the corner. Unlike many in her home district, she hates the Hunger Games with a passion. Much to her horror, she is selected to participate in the annual Hunger Games. Tatum is determined to make herself memorable in the hopes of getting sponsors and increase her chances of doing well. Her mentor is Kolton, the boy who is put on a pedestal by the Capital. The two of them used to be best friends but that ended when he shut the world out after he became a victor. Tatum believes that Kolton doesn't want anything to do with her, especially because they have not talked in years. Tatum knows she has the ability to win the games, but is not sure she wants to after hearing rumors about what happens when tributes win the game. Suzie is just a normal girl from district 2 whos family has died because of the cruel Capitol, and all she wants is to do is be with them again. She figures the best way to finally be with her family again is to volunteer for the hunger games. Then someone else could kill her and she wouldn't have to kill herself. Also her father was in the games and she wanted to make him proud. So she comes up with a plan to go around all the districts gathering different types of skills and once she gets back to district 2 she will volunteer. Making her father proud was the thing she loved to do the most. Her father was her idol. But she doesnt have to volunteer. Suzie Timmer thought she would never get chosen at the reaping because she is not apart of any of the districts except district 2. But the Capitol figures out her plan, they figure out what she has been doing, so they purposly pull her name out at the reaping in district 4...
