Brielle stood there shocked. She could not believe Nick was standing here right in front of her after 2 months of no contact, no hi, no bye. She could feel the ache returning to her chest. The feeling she was left with since that phone call that left her in pieces.
"What are you doing here Brielle?" Nick asked with a smile.
Brielle was silent. She begun to walk back to her car, then she ran, hair sweeping in the wind behind her. Nick ran after her. She reached her car and grabbed her shoes off the hood. As she begun to unlock and open her door Nick closed it and tears begun to pour out her eyes.
