"I wanna be a princess when I grow up." Every single girl has said that when they were young, but did anyone of us ever think it would come true?  I know I didn't, but then again I was never good at predicting things.

Arietty Burnolo was what you could call a normal sixteen year-old girl. She was in highschool, had a few close friends and average grades. She wasn't anything special. Well, she didn't think she was anything special. 

That was until Monday the 31st of October, Halloween, 2014. She was sitting in maths class waiting for the excruciatingly boring school day to end. Tick, tock. The clock seemed to torment her when the seceratary called through the speaker. "Will Arietty Burnolo please report to the principals office." She was extremely surprised and quickly got up and gathered her things. She ran to the principals office and saw an old man sitting there. 

He wore an Armani suit and he looked very posh. Arietty thought she recognised him but couldn't place him. She shook it off and sat down on the chair next to the old man. "Arietty, welcome. This is Mr. Arthur Quingel. He says he is a friend of your mothers and has come to pick you up." Arietty was very surprised because she had never seen this man before. 

"Gather your things you will be going with him to see your mother in the South of France." The old man, Arthur, said. 
Arietty ran out of the principles office down to her locker to collect her things.
For some reason she trusted this man. A big part of it was that she wanted to go to the South of France but she recognised this man and she knew he wasn't some creepy kidnapper.
