Earl was the only one child of Park Yoo Jun and Jane Arquilla a filipina who move in south korea to work as a factory worker while his father was a great firefighter at the countryside of Yangpyeong. But an accident occurred when his father died at the age of 35 while rescuing an old man in a great fire that killed 11 resident including Mr. Park. Earl was only three years old at that time, and because his mother stop for working at the factory when it gone banckrupt, his mother suffered from depression and frustrations. At a young age Earl work on his own. But his journey will start when he suffered from a disease called Waardenburg Syndrome. How can he overcome the world if everyone is against him? and how can he change everything for the sake of the one he love.
