Charlie is fifteen, she's never been happy. After her parents spilt from years of a violent relationship. Charlie is forced to move with her mum to Cornwall for a fresh start. They move in with her grandparents while her dad goes off to play happy families elsewhere. Charlie hopes that all the pain from the past can be left behind. Unfortunately with a grandmother that doesn't seem to care, an abusive alcoholic mum, and a grandfather suffering from mental health issues. It seems that all she has are her friends. But even with her new friend Lily, there's a secret to uncover. Things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.
*This book contains abuse that some readers may find upsetting, therefore has been rated mature. There are also themes of eating disorders and alcohol abuse.
