80 years ago, after more than 300 years, vampires suddenly reappeared. Predicted to have gone extinct after Dracula's death, England, with the rest of the world, believed they were safe from the vampire's scourge. To help with protecting citizens, curfews were put into place, but nothing quite keeps vampires away.

Eris Tasche longs for more. Her hands are full as she prepares for the day her mother dies of Alzheimer's, but when she is alone, she dreams of indulging the fantasies she's longed for since her father left them both.

One harrowing night turns her life upside down, trauma shaking her to her core. She is shoved into a world beyond her understanding, and it turns out those previous fantasies may not be so hard to obtain. In fact, some are willing to fall at her feet so she may have them.
