The year...sometime in the future, Sybil gave up keeping track a while ago, she didn't care anymore. She hated what the world had turned into, it was organized chaos. Tech had overrun the world and merged with humanity, becoming a normal thing to most people, but some absolutely hated it. Some wanted the world to go back to how it used to. Could that happen? No, but they can make their warped world better for the future. To hopefully have them save the earth before...before all hell breaks loose worldwide.

The people who created these debts for them have been repaid with the fall of their companies because of lack of money. Elliot had returned to some version of normalcy, though his life was never normal. A new girl has moved into Shayla's old apartment. She's different from the people who lived there before her and vastly different from anyone who lived in the building before. Like Elliot, she keeps to herself and hardly leaves her apartment but other than that she seem rather normal. As time passes Elliot does what he does best, he hacks. But its more of the same. But his arm wasn't. ** Now, within dead cities and abandoned highways, Morgan fights to stay hidden from the Scrappers as they search for humans. She travels alone and trusts no one but herself. But when Morgan meets a boy named Jude with a metal arm, something only the Scrappers could have given him, she chooses to trust him despite her fears telling her otherwise. Not only was Jude taken by the Scrappers, but he was also the first one to survive them and now they want him back. With the Scrappers still hunting them, Morgan and Jude travel east in hopes to find more humans. As their group slowly grows, Jude hides the secret about his arm but when one of their group betrays them, he's found out. When they leave Jude behind for the Scrappers to find, Morgan surrenders herself over with him, even when it may cost her her life.
