He is Nozomu, a patient that has a significant purpose to live despite his struggle. She is Hikari, a recovering victim of an accident who was deprive to have a normal life.
A hope and a light. That are the things we need to live and so when they dim; we lose our reason to breathe.
That is why people are leaves in a cycle.
