nightmare and dream are brother not usually same age so I could not say they are twins (my AU).
nightmare is older than dream with 6 years...the two of them were created by not really a lovely parents.....
they didn't really have 'a childhood'
as nightmare was bullied going to dreams side of story... he was....
rapped.....hurted.....and forced to do. things he don't like... the two were always there for supporting each other....
