The Sword and the Shadow

In the world of Oceron, there exist two types of people. Those who were born with elemental magic, and those who weren't. The ones with elemental magic use their abilities to protect the world and the people who live in it...but some seek to rule the world and use their magic for evil purposes.
When an old enemy of the Order of Magic, the Guardians of Erayon, returns after being presumed dead, they will turn to the only person who has the skill set to finally put him down. But with the entire balance of Erayon resting on his shoulders, can this bounty hunter stand up to the one who nearly destroyed the Order of Magic five years earlier?

This is a story that has been bouncing around my head for about three years. The idea for this story came from a lot of places and has had a lot of influences as I have continued to think and work everything out. Some inspirations include The Ranger's Apprentice, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and The Chronicles of Narnia.
Each act place holder has optional information (although the first one has information that might be necessary for understanding the story) so if you want to skip them, then you will lose nothing of the story.
I will post the first three chapters, then wait till I have written the rest of the story to post more chapters. Sorry if it takes a while, but I will try to finish the story as quickly as possible.
