Since the time when Dhalia University was built a long time ago, a magical rumor was spread. If a couple gets into the university together, they will live happily ever after. However, for Romeo Mercado, Dhalia U is a distant dream. After failing to get into Dhalia U twice, he is kicked out by his parents and goes to live with his grandmother at her hotel. Much to his surprise, he finds that his grandma has gone off on a world tour, and the hotel converted into a girls' dorm.

Unfortunately for Romeo, a series of misunderstandings during his first visit left him with five untrusting tenants: the cute yet violent Sandra "Sandy" Alvarez, the alcoholic, cheeky, and opportunistic Claudia "Claudy" Dela Cruz, the soft-spoken Vanessa Evans, the straight-laced Brianna Dominguez, and the mischievous and troublemaker Naomi Lynn.

Thus continues Romeo's everyday life as the new manager of the dormitory and dealing with his eccentric tenants. Struggling to his difficult journey to get into Dhalia U is his goal to fulfilling his promise to his childhood sweetheart 15 years ago, who has ever shown any interest in him and maybe, just maybe, meet her again...
