If Saturn Replaced the Moon

A dream, something far beyond the minds eye.
Changing the possibilities of life.
Crippling reality and sad illusions.

Kang Min-jae, a Korean astronomical researcher and scientist who works for NASA, dominates in all ways. His cells inactive, his trust interchangeable. He's finally given the chance to search for what he believes is there.

Something beyond what we believe.
Something we can't see with the simple eyes of man.

His heartache is replaced with a steadfastness to keep going, even when the answers become more frightening than the questions.

He chases the stars and gallops along the earth.
He watches the planet.
He watches the comets shoot and scream, "we passers by have no words to tell."

But something is different.

The stars don't look the same anymore.

The universe begins whispering things he can't understand, showing him things that shouldn't exist. Numbers that don't make sense. Movements that shouldn't happen. A gravitational pull that shouldn't be there.

And then he sees it.

Saturn.

Not where Saturn is supposed to be.

But where the Moon should be.

A thought becomes a question.

A question becomes a possibility.

And the possibility begins to cripple reality itself.

What if Saturn replaced the Moon?

What happens to the oceans?
What happens to the earth?
What happens to the people who look up and see a planet where the Moon once was?

Min-jae watches, not having any idea what to do, as the universe whispers and slaps him in the face.

Maybe some things were never meant to be discovered.

Maybe some questions were never meant to be answered.

And maybe the universe has been watching us...
