After the untimely death of Avatar Korra, the White Lotus began their periodic search in the newly formed Earth Federation. Only problem? The Avatar wasn't found for the next sixteen years.
Republic City has now reached its peak and stands on the verge of collapse. Zaofu has closed its borders in order to isolate against the pandemic brought on by the Spirits, and Ba Sing Se - which was on the climb to stability - remained oblivious to all the chaos. All having lost faith in their search for a new Avatar.
And amongst the labourers in a rural village outside the Great Wall, a single boy, having been hidden from the world his entire life, decides it's time for his story to change. Seeing his parents struggle with the disease from the Spirit world, Jin decides he can't stay hidden forever. But he doesn't want to fight another Zaheer or Ozai either. He wants to master the four elements, but doesn't want to have to use them to fight. He just wants to be normal - not the bridge between humans and Spirits.
Thus he comes up with a plan. Something so thought-out and fool-proof. So deceptive and never been done before. He was going to convince the world that he wasn't the Avatar, but someone else was. His best friend.

The Glitch
Every 100 years there's supposed to be a new one of us. But the newest one vanished when the world needed him most. Now people, are either fearful of us or hate us it sounds like. He was really supposed to be the next one, there's only supposed to be one of us, but there's two. They call me a glitch, I'll be able to learn all different elements just like my brother, but also I'm the only one who has some form of touchable body even when I'm in the spirit world. And for as long as he can remember he's been able to Airbend, but he doesn't know how he can. For the first seven years of his life he grew up on the streets using his Airbending to survive. His life changes when he meets Tenzin, the son of Avatar Aang and an Airbending Master. When Tenzin realises that Y/N is an Airbender and an orphan, he takes the boy back to Air Temple Island to train him as an Airbender. He and his wife, Pema also decide to adopt Y/N as their son. The young boy goes on to be an older brother to Tenzin's two daughters, Jinora and Ikki and his son, Meelo. Y/N advances very fast in his Airbending training and after five years of training Tenzin makes Y/N an Airbending Master. Y/N starts uses his Airbending to help the people of Republic City in secret. One day his life changes when Avatar Korra comes to Republic City in order to be trained in Airbending by Tenzin. Y/N helps her train and the two of them along with their three friends Mako, Bolin and Asami form the new Team Avatar in order to stop The Equalist's and their leader Amon.
