❝ lipstick on his collar, the smell of cherry wine; scratch marks on his back, he tasted divine ❞

she finally gave in to a sorrow so deep, like the currents that carried shards of her soul away. and little by little, she finally began to understand why the storm beckoned to her. love never left her, it sunk its claws into her neck, blood oozing out, but it drank all her dignity just like cherry wine. she was hurled under the surface, but maybe now, it was finally the time to rise again, or not at all.

But healing through words is the only way of keeping her sanity. Covering the shades of black and white with a thin gray line has never helped anyone before, but painting all those hurtful moments in colors had made the world a better place to live in: resentments under a rug of a smile.
