Dugal Cherith is a nine year old boy who is supposedly insane. The people in his town, Tracy, California, say he sold his soul to the Devil.
Nerezza Kami is a delinquent teenager with heterochromia and vitiligo. She burned the arm of a boy named Tommy when she was seven with only her fingertip, and since then she has only gotten stronger. But recently she was declared legally dead by the Tracy Police Department.
Nerezza and Dugal are both very strange children with very strange abilities. Their town is trying to contain them, but the problem may be bigger than people think.
