When Liberty, a girl who is curious about everything finds out that her mother was taken from her during the Holocaust, she decides to try and find out if she survived World War 2. But after ten years, Liberty's plan could be nearly impossible! At the same time, her real mother, Eva, is trying to locate Ana, (Liberty's real name). Will the two ever reunite and if so, will they still be able to live the normal life they've both dreamed of having?

Nadia Rose Quinn had a sketchy child hood. It all began at the age of five when her parents split up. Then at the age of seven her mam passed away from livers disease after being an alcoholic for two years. Then she was passed through a number of different orphanages till she was ten. He gramps took her in after that and she has lived with her ever since on their farm in the English country side. So when her grandma Sheila passes away Nadia is beside her self, if she though her life was bad then it's worse now. Not old enough to take care of her self at the age of fifteen she is told she can either go back to Italy and live with a man she can hardly remember or be put back in to the adoption system. Not wanting to go back in her life she chooses to travel to Italy to live with her farther. At first she hates it. One day when she decides to go exploring on her farther's speed boat she gets stuck on a island call Borealis, it is here that her life will be changed for ever.
