Ara isn't your average 20 year old. She's spent her life on the run. Well, at least, what she can remember of it.
This time, however, she can't escape from a past that calls to her.
After eating a Devil Fruit, she finds herself discovered by Trafalgar Law, and in a situation that she can't weasel out of.
Past converges into the present, and soon, she won't know who to believe and what to trust. Memories start to return, flashes of darkness and violence.
No one can escape from the past, because it always catches up to you.
