Elaina finds herself joining the Company of Thorin under unfortunate, or fortunate, circumstances, depending on the person answering. With a painful past and shrouded in questions that the Company can't seem to find the answers, it becomes quickly apparent that not everything is completely normal with their newest member. The question is, what?
This story loosely follows the plot of the three movies, and features a budding romance between Elaina and Bofur, our favorite flute-wielding, hat-wearing dwarf, and mysteries waiting to be uncovered.

🥇#1 in Thorin 4/10/2024 The reader joins the company on the quest to reclaim the dwarven homeland of Erebor. It becomes much more problematic than your usual adventure wherein the reader is a skin changer with alpha blood that allows her to shift into any creature; all she has to do is merely look at the animal she wants to turn into. Along with this comes soul bound mates-that are a natural thing for skin changers, likewise for the dwarves it is finding their one. How will Thorin behave when he discovers his one in the powerful skin changer? He says he'll wait till the quest is over but can he make it that long? For the reader, it's a whole new journey in more ways than one. Neither parties want to give up their mate as they are only blessed with just one in a lifetime. Thorin only agreed to allow Sophie to live amongst them out of a sense of duty to Bifur, who is recovering from an odd head injury (is there any other way to describe having an axe blade lodged in one's head, only to have it later dislodged during the Battle of the Five Armies?) Healing, Magic, And Unexpected Adventures

Now she spends her time as an underage healer working for an apothecary, but when she is given the opportunity for an adventure with thirteen dwarves who seem nice enough, she takes it. With trolls, orcs, and quite a bit of a tragic backstory waiting to be revealed, Bouvardia must face the wilds of Middle Earth whilst also worrying about the safety of the company. Homeward Bound Part One: An Unexpected Journey
Bilba Baggins couldn't be happier. She's embraced her Baggins' half and has placated her Took half with a short trip to Bree (the most adventure she ever wishes to have). In addition, she is convinced Fram Harfoot, the most eligible bachelor in all of Hobbiton, will soon declare his eternal love for her - particularly after he sees the dinner she's prepared for him. When the knock sounds on her door she just knows it heralds the first day of the rest of her life as a respectable, and entirely proper, Hobbit. Instead of her Happily Ever After, however, Bilba gets a company of Dwarves - complete with their obnoxious leader who MIGHT be vaguely attractive if he ever stopped ruining it by opening his mouth.
