This is a story based off the 'Maze Runner' trilogy. It centres around the main character, Edeline, who becomes the second girl to be sent into the maze. She is best friends with Teresa, but unlike her, disagrees with WCKED and sides with the boys. She becomes close with Thomas and Newt, but there's one certain boy that catches her eye. . . a runner.

This fiction-piece is from the perspective of Edeline, looking back at her time with WCKD, the maze and Minho, once they had escaped and found peace. 

I hope you enjoy! Every Maze Runner Fanfiction I have read is always about Thomas or Newt, but I wanted this to focus on Minho and give him a relationship-type interaction with another character! Minho and Thomas are the best of friends, and they live conveniently close to each other. They hang out with a small circle of friends, which has always been the case. However, recently, Minho has been subtly mentioning a friend of his from Bristol, England named Newt. According to the idea, he was supposed to come in a few months as an exchange student and stay in Minho's house for the entire duration. Thomas was fine with it, as he was a considerably friendly person and trusted that two months would be easy to manage. What could possibly go wrong? Everyone would be gone to the Safe Heaven thinking Newt and Teresa are dead. But 1 month later, Newt woke up, healthy again and cured. Newt and Teresa then make a team to try and get back to the Safe Heaven where is everyone. This is an alternative end for The Maze Runner : The Death Cure (because I'm clearly still not over Newt's death and I'm so mad that they killed him, so yeah...)
