Hot summer day August 13, 1958, 3 year old Anna Mae went missing from the front yard of her apartment in Detroit, Michigan. 20 years later in 1982 her sister, Marilyn, who you will follow in this story, never got over her disappearance and becomes a cop in order to try and find her baby sister, and save any other children from disappearing as long as Anna Mae has. Soon, her and her police partner, Malcolm, begin to discover bits and pieces of how Anna Mae disappeared and where she might be, but in doing so, they find disturbing discoveries about Detroit that might be connected to her disappearance and the kidnapper may not be as clear as it seems

When the truth starts to come out, Hope is left to wonder if she remembers the dreadful night and finds out she had something to do with it, will she ever forgive herself?

A few weeks ago the two girls went into town to buy an ice cream and chat a little after school. That was the last moment Isabella was seen. The police searched for the 6 year old but couldn't find her. Amber and John Summer, two successful Doctors, are worried. Emma Banville, a dedicated lawyer, takes a look at the case after talking to Jessy and soon finds out that there is more behind the missing girl what no one would have expected.
