On the last sunny day before the so called apocalypse, you wanna make sure you got your family, your friends, your devil of a cat they call Kasper, behind you, say your sorry's and I love you's and whatnot, whatever loving, close-nit families say to each other - it's not like I know or anything - and perhaps seek the essential tools to survive the apocalypse season, a season which right now sounds way too crazy to be true, maybe hoping this crazy nightmare will subside and that any minute now, you'll wake up to your normal boring old life.. you know, like that awesome video game my friend can't stop bragging about, the one where you laugh and shriek through eyes blocked by mutilated people as you pull the seething trigger and exploding fireworks of glistening blood shower the screen. Yeah, awesome until they turn from being trapped in a shiny screen to popping in through the smashed door and saying hello with a bloodied dagger. Not cool.
We didn't even know what hit us.
The end of civilization and law and order will come to devastating end. But what if people are too blind to see this may be not only the end of another era? We all know that human beings shine the brightest when they die. Technology which has dominated the 21st century will undoubtedly become useless and unpredictable.
People must only count on family and loyalties. And on swords and skills. Children of the new world must learn to adapt... To almost anything.
Because you see, the absorbing world of frightening fantasy and scenes of bloody carnage...
Has now become the unthinkable reality.

It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. The Revelation
In the beginning, there was death. The darkness flows from hues of purple and orange, the moon rising to kiss the sun's rays one last time as the darkest cloud of night I've ever seen falls over our tiny haven. I catch Will's face from the side of my vision and my heart tightens slightly. The tick of his jaw wouldn't be noticeable for anyone but me. His best friend, his lifeline. A solemn tear forms in my eye as he wipes his face, another tear falling for the family he lost. I love him. Utterly and desperately so, but, there's nothing I can do about that. The ultimate forbidden fruit, if you will. I reach to comfort him and he doesn't respond. I open my mouth to speak and he looks my way, but the gleam in his dark brown eyes hits the moonlight just right and I fall. My voice escapes my throat and I can't do it. I've tried for years to tell him. 10 years, actually. All this time, I hopelessly remained devoted to a ghost who had given the best of himself to a fiery red-head with a sassy personality and the body of a supermodel. For 10 years, I held to the desperate thought that maybe, just maybe, he'd be someone I could count on. Instead, I watched him marry my best friend, smiled as they welcomed their son. Stood, holding that beautiful boy as his mother was in the first round of executions after the beginning of the Revelation. Helped heal Will's wounds in the aftermath. Cried, clutching the tear-stained shirt of my best friend as his son took his last staggering breath in that first harsh winter. The guilt of my emotions crawl through me. My heart twisting in regret, guilt, desperation, and grief. I loved my best friend. She was so much more than that; she was my family. Brothers
Older brothers. I have more than people could handle. I have 8 brothers. Well one is my twin, but surprise surprise he likes to make it known that he is older. Sometimes it sucks being the only girl, but I wouldn't change it for the world. My name is Alora. I am 14 years old and a freshmen in high school. People think that my family is perfect and that we have never had anything bad happen to us. We lost our mom over 9 years ago. I also had something bad happen to me, but I will get into more detail in the story. This book is just for fun. And this book is inspired by so many people, so if something seems similar tell me so I can give credit, but I would love to give a few books that inspired me to write this are "I'm a Costello," by _crazy_hooman_ , "The Storm's Return," by Cocomazza, "Our Little Moon" by nunu110383, and finally "Resilience" by liswatiii. Conquer the Wasteland
*Prologue* To be entirely honest with you, I never really considered my future. It's not like I needed to...right? Why would you care about jobs and your educational success when you could be scavenging for food, perhaps? I mean what use is your academic future in the apocalypse? Dramatic right? As I sit here, writing this down, I feel a little pathetic. Although the chance that someone would read my story is incredibly low, I can't help but feel a small glimmer of hope that someone will find it. It would become an instant best-seller! Who wouldn't read the first-hand account of a zombie apocalypse survivor? Even if that day were to arrive, I can guarantee that I won't be alive to see it. The world is a complete and total mess and we are the only ones to blame. Why do you ask? Well, why don't we take a trip down memory lane? First, people alone destroyed the earth with pollution, making it the ultimate playground for the undead. Second, we created the virus that single-handedly destroyed 97% of the human population. Xalune - Echoes from the past
In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

Not The Last {Rough Draft}
~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. The Troubled Soul (Volume 3: Final Volume)
Once upon a time, there was a young boy who experienced constant pain. The only person who truly stayed by his side was Kallie, his sister. She was his everything. His life, his family, his best friend...his world. Then humanity had to take her away and wreck his perfect, peaceful life. As if it was not enough humans were the source of all his pain and suffering he experienced throughout his life, and the reason for all his scars and symbols, they took away the only person he cared about. Well, enough was enough. He tried leaving humanity alone. He tried living a peaceful life away from all the fighting. It was all he wanted; to live a peaceful life with his sister, but humanity would not allow him that. So, if battling was the only thing humans throughout history understood, then he would bring them a war. So now, he has a new goal. Peace treaties are made between humans but they never last. War, however, forces the loser to obey no matter what for however long the winner decides. If humanity-the entire world-only submitted to the strongest then he would dominate them all. Only he would be the strongest, allowing no other person to even come close to his power. He would burn the world down to its very foundation, eradicating everyone who stands in his way, and rebuild it anew. The new world would be transformed into what he could never have. A fair and just world, devoid of all sins, where everyone can live a peaceful life without the constant worry of what could hurt them next. New laws will be placed while the old ones are removed. All evil will be purged from the world. Any who stand in his way will be turned to ash to help build his world. If the world wanted him to be evil so badly...then he would be a malicious tyrant that rules not with an iron fist, but a diamond one. Of course, there will be many who will fight back. However, there is only one person who even has a chance at winning...and she only cares about her little sunshine.Complete

[Completed] There's three of us. Triplets. We all have each other's backs. There's me, Maeve. The one with red eyes. People call me a murder. Satan. Evil. Anything really. All I cared about was not them. Certainly not them. Those people didn't matter to me. What mattered was my other two siblings. Everything I have ever done, was for them. She has the personality like a five year old but we love her to pieces. Me and Damien try to protect her against the evil's of the world. She shouldn't go through that like we did. At least she has a normal childhood, or some part of normal. We didn't have the best childhood growing up. Well, me and Damien didn't. Mother gave Angel the best childhood she ever wanted. Sometimes, only sometimes when she was drunk or whatever with her stupid boyfriend did she punish Angel. That was once every blue moon. She was convinced me and Damien had Satan in us. While Angel, well she thought that Angel was an angel from Heaven. Now, let me stop rambling. This story will be an emotional roller coaster. Altered
Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community.
