Elizabeth Thompson is an average college student doing her best to become a pediatrician at University of Virginia, until life changing news falls upon her after a viral like episode happens to her at her work, immediately getting rushed to the hospital.

She's the quite one, and although she has an amazing posse of friends, she never really feels like she fits in. That is, until she meet the guy who made her heart skip a beat.
