Note: This story is intended for those who have seen or heard of the story of the Lost World, which is a Wings of Fire AU. However, it is not necessary to know the story of the Lost World in order to enjoy this story. Another note: this story can be pretty messed up at times, because the main character eventually gets a very twisted mind. I labeled the story as mature because of this. So, for those of you who have problems with mature themes, please DON'T READ THIS! I don't want to disturb anyone. Just, be prepared for the worst. The story of Ghost, the first Wraithwing. Not the normal story format, at least from me. I'll be writing as often as possible, but if I fall behind, don't be afraid to remind me to get back on track. Slap me if you have to. I'm determined to get this whole story out there, no matter how long it takes. Anyways, onto the description of the story. Ghost, a practically insane King of a dragon tribe of assassins, wasn't always like this. He wasn't close to insanity before. He wasn't a King before. Hell, he wasn't even a Wraithwing before. This villain has the most depth out of any character that I've made in the past, which is why he's one of my favorites. Anyways, on with the story!

"Powers do not define the type of dragon you are." After discovering the poison administered by Queen Wasp is still lingering in his body, Inferno departs from Jade Mountain in an attempt to rehabilitate himself. Without the ability to perform as a Winglet, Inferno roams the unknown world to rediscover who he is meant to be. _____________________________________________ All alone now... Three weeks after defeating Queen Wasp, Inferno grew sick with the poison remaining in his body. With both Pyrrhia and Pantala continuing to drown in disorders and chaos since the battle, Inferno attempts to seek for a way to rehabilitate himself and return to the Winglets. However, after many attempts of healing sessions, there was barely progress in his restoration. Ten months later and left with no other option, Inferno departs and traverses across the world to rediscover himself and find a solution to his lingering poison while hiding his identity as a Winglet. As the continents begin rolling toward a new age, he must reconnects with his past and confronts the nightmares that lie before him. However, with his absence, a new threat emerges from the ruins of the war to inflict its fury upon a new continent. An inevitable dynasty, a missing FlameWing, and a continent in disarray, the fate of the future is more uncertain than ever. _____________________________________________ Based on Wings of Fire by Tui T.
