Note: This story is intended for those who have seen or heard of the story of the Lost World, which is a Wings of Fire AU. However, it is not necessary to know the story of the Lost World in order to enjoy this story.
Another note: this story can be pretty messed up at times, because the main character eventually gets a very twisted mind. I labeled the story as mature because of this. So, for those of you who have problems with mature themes, please DON'T READ THIS! I don't want to disturb anyone. Just, be prepared for the worst.
The story of Ghost, the first Wraithwing.
Not the normal story format, at least from me. I'll be writing as often as possible, but if I fall behind, don't be afraid to remind me to get back on track. Slap me if you have to.
I'm determined to get this whole story out there, no matter how long it takes. Anyways, onto the description of the story.
Ghost, a practically insane King of a dragon tribe of assassins, wasn't always like this. He wasn't close to insanity before. He wasn't a King before. Hell, he wasn't even a Wraithwing before.
This villain has the most depth out of any character that I've made in the past, which is why he's one of my favorites.

She arrives at sundown with a seemingly fake reason for being late. It throws Sunny, her adopted aunt, into worry as it seems her niece has changed. But why? And why does she keep having visions of nothing but pitch blackness? Did something happen to her niece? And what will happen when a bully Skywing keeps making her doubt that being a hybrid is somehow wrong? Will Spirit be able to recover her regular self or will she give up and become a doormat? Nightfighter is a strange NightWing, he has light blue eyes and most importantly, the powers of the NightWings lost centuries ago. He has both mind reading and prophecy telling. He attends Jade Mountain Academy meeting Moonwatcher, another mind reader. He meets new friends, his winglet. He soon finds out about dark secrets along with his newly found friends. Death follows, with a great danger lurking above them. Will Nightfighter and his friends survive? Or will they die trying? If you haven't read the books yet, this might be a bit confusing because this takes place first in book six and takes some information from book 7. Most of this book was made before book 9: "Talons of Power" so I might get some stuff wrong. Wings Of Fire and it's characters does not belong to me but to Tui T. Sutherland, all rights are hers. New cover is in the works! ------ It has been three months since the dragonets "prophecy" came to fruition. Every Tribe was trying to adapt to the new peace. For one particularly stubborn tribe (cough cough, Nightwings, cough cough), they were having a rather rough time. Though one rude little bastard adapted slightly faster (mostly due to not wanting to starve again). But one BRIGHT night.. something fell from the sky with burning light. What would the light bring.. a hero?.. or a villain.. - Example dialogue: (this is used in the story, Violence Warning) There were only ten Dragons standing in front of Stargazer. They were all wielding spears and unfortunately they were not Nightwings. They could only watch as the flames from the torches gradually went out on the floor. Fateseakers silhouette could vaguely be seen plucking the heads off of the fallen Dragons like flowers in a field. A ripping sound could be vividly heard as Fateseaker grabbed each Dragon by the throat. Followed by a thunk and crunch as Fateseaker slammed the decapitated heads into ground below, turning them into mush. Stargazer finally managed to pull two of the Guards far enough apart to see what was happening. She saw flames filling the area as the Dragons were torn apart. Without any care for any of their comrades. The Dragons on the ground began to spew flames in any direction they could, unsure of exactly where Fateseaker was due to a mixture of pure panic and darkness. --- (A story about Breaking "Fate") WIP chapters are technically "finished", but I'll add more details, better grammar, etc. The edited chapters will have a (rewritten # times) at the beginning.
