Sam Winchester always sticks up for his brother, always has and always will. Sassy and smart, he earns the respect of the school and secretly finds someone he loves, never expecting the gender to be a male.

Gabriel Novak, the "Trickster" and openly gay guy at school. He's picked on but doesn't let it get to him. Few friends, but that still doesn't change his always-happy attitude. But one kid will make him go crazy, more than usual, and a new and better friendship will unfold.

The Winter of 1959 is here, and Dean Winchester meets Castiel Novak at a party. When Dean finds out Castiel is gay, and quite literally has secrets up his sleeves, how will he react? For Dean knows he is most definitely straight... Right? ~~~~ I got this idea from a roleplay I was doing on Supernatural Amino. It's almost the same thing with some changes. We didn't intend for this to be a story so, yes, lots of Twist and Shout references in here. Don't hate me. I was Dean in the roleplay by the way. Castiel Novak didn't want to go to the dinner. But his parents told him to be there, he couldn't skip it. His life was okay at this point. He had a couple of friends, did good at school, his parents were cool (well as cool as they can be when you are a single child and adopted), he didn't have panic attacks anymore, he managed to hide his wings and no one bullied him anymore, almost. At this point he didn't want anything to change, but he usually didn't get what he wished for. That night everything changed. He knew he shouldn't have gone to that dinner, but that doesn't mean he regret it. He met his best friend that night, a best friend he might be falling for. At Castiel's first day of school he already got in real trouble with a group of mean students. -------- Sam and Dean didn't have the best life. Their Dad was almost always gone and if he was there, there was yelling and a lot of getting punched. In school Dean acted the bad boy but when he was alone his world broke together. He was soft and hurt. Even though he was Sam's protector. Never would he ever let anything happen to Sammy. He took blame for stuff Sammy did just to keep him safe. Safe from their Dad.
