It all started on Minecraft with cats... I like making up storylines for them and well this family was getting a little out of hand. That's when I decided to write it out. My friend and I agreed it fits the "wattpad theme." So here we are 🤠 This story is one of multiple parts. I plan on making it from different people's point of view. This is Salem's I absolutely loathe him!!! Please don't think I'm anything like him. ⚠️TRIGGER WARNING- if you can't handle the following things mentioned, this story is probably not for you⚠️ Salem is misogynistic, gaslights women, sexist, abusive, and all around a horrible person. So if you don't like reading any of the things I just mentioned don't read!!! This story will include lgbt 🏳️🌈 characters, but since it's from Salem's POV it'll be awhile before the lgbt characters are mentioned, at least positively 😓

Rasmus was shocked when he saw me and it was as if he saw a ghost. Fuck! Why did you do this to me! You said you didn't have a relationship with her but now it's clear to me! I can see it with my own two eyes that they love each other! "Sheryl." He softly said my name. He stood up causing his woman to move away from him. "Look it is not what you think.." I don't know if I was imagining it because I just saw his emotion as if he was afraid and feel sorry for me or sad. "Ras stop it! What are you talking about? We kissed didn't we? Why do you have to explain to her?!" His woman seems annoyed. Rasmus couldn't take his eyes off me and even surprised his woman when he pulled back his arm that was holding her. He slowly walked towards me. My tears just continued to fall and my vision was blurred because of the tireless release of water from my eyes "Hey, I don't know how to explain this but believe me I didn't kiss her." He still managed to lie in front of me?! My fists clenched. I just smiled bitterly at him before I turned and ran out of the house. I didn't look at him again and I know he followed me because I heard him calling my name. I can barely see the road I'm running to because of my blurred vision. It hurt so much! It's like I'm slowly being crushed by this disease. Why did I love someone like him and why didn't I love Tristan? He is better over him! Why is the world so unfair?! Why me?! I was deaf and I couldn't hear anything because my mind was consumed by emotions. I don't know if this road I ran is still right. I suddenly came back to my thoughts when I heard a loud beep of a car. The last thing I saw was Rasmus' shocked eyes as he ran towards me. "I love you" she says and kisses my jaw tenderly. "I love you too baby" I reply stroking her still damp hair. We were sat in a dirty McDonald's car park. We could be sat in a fucking pile of trash and I wouldn't care. Because I would be with her. Astren City, and all surrounding area, have the highest crime rate in the northern part of the country. Dozens of crime families constantly trying to take the throne, as well as corruption lurking around every corner, do not aid in that fact at all. Salem Heart's father, Jack Heart, happens to be the Astren City Chief of Police, a title which holds a lot of weight and a rank that claims even more power. He's well respected, and amazing at his job. That said, greatness is expected of Salem as well. Of course that isn't a problem, Salem will always be loyal to the law. He was raised by it, and upholding it is his future career aspiration. He thinks he has his life figured out. The fact that his ex-boyfriend comes from a notorious crime family, and has been arrested several times by Jack's own department, doesn't matter. Salem's passed that, he's over Atlas Marino and he always will be. He will ignore that scratch in his record, and cover it up with his success. Salem is offered a job to help with an investigation that could benefit his future career astronomically. He thinks it's a win-win situation, he gets the recognition he desires, and the streets will be that much safer. It's all black and white to him, easy to understand. He likes the order, and he craves the accomplishment of defeating bad with good. It's all black and white. Until he gets caught in the grey.
