Amity's life was hard before she came. Luz Noceda has changed Amity's life for the better. Her father and mother divorced and Amity now lives with Alador, who has changed for the better, and her annoying older siblings. Her friends, Willow, Boscha and Gus are always by her side. And Luz. Luz was the light of her life, and Amity is happy. Now all is well and nothing can go wrong. At least she thinks so.....

Luz honestly didn't mind, but the fact that she was in the same double dorm as Boscha at Hexside Private University was kinda aggravating. It was quite often she was booted from her own goddamned dorm room, so boscha could "give it" to her side peice.. Luz's friend Willow. Instead of her own girlfriend. So Luz and Amity have spent a lot of time in Amity's single recapping shows and book series together, in the beginning Luz thought it was just one of their 'friend' meetups but, Amity loved it when the brunette knocked on her door, her heart and many other places ached for the muscular, jock built nonbinary. It was no secret amongst herself that she wanted to see and memorize Luz's abs, to feel her defined chest muscles she had surgery to make flat. to recognize the peach fuzz three months of testosterone gave her.. to drown in the smoothness of her voice. Amity still had it bad, Luz however had already accepted that Amity was taken, Amity.. hated that. Their mom, Camila, was struggling to get by, never home and constantly in and out of the hospital taking up shifts, the youngest daughter, Luz, was barely ever able to keep out of trouble at school and struggled to fit in, and the oldest, Lucía, was in constant arguments with her mom until she finally packed up all of her things in the night and ran away from home six months ago. The only thing left behind was a letter with the words "I'm making this house worse and worse" written in it. Now, Luz attending a "Reality Check Summer Camp" was supposed to make everything better, everything normal. But after running off that bus to camp to chase after her one prized possession, her Good Witch Azura book, one thing led to another and now she had ended up in some old, isolated, and hidden town named the "Boiling Isles." Everything had changed since the death of their papá. Balancing guilt, trying to conform, broken relationships, and more, it felt impossible. There were lies, secrets, and entire lives hidden from one another, and it was only a matter of time before something or someone finally unraveled it all. "I'll never be good enough for you," she said.
