Twelve astronauts from two different groups are sent to a most recently discovered planet "POLUS" to test the waters and see if it's much of a liveable place.
But by the end of it, the circumstances are anything but liveable.

This book will be entirely SFW! It does however include light descriptions of murder (nothing too gory), ships/romance, and a decent amount of swearing.
The storyline is not canon and my own ideas (just the whole Mira company and world setting obviously, I didn't make up Mira or Polus or the story of among us myself. This is technically a fanfiction so it's in the among us world, but with a bit of my own stuff!!)

A Metroid and Murder Drones Crossover
New Cover! I originally had this written on a .txt file, so it is mostly copy-pasted. But anyway, the description. This is a story about, well, the title says it. A Metroid and murder drones crossover. Just a cool idea I had for a while. It took me a while for me to actually start writing this. I made the cover by using several models in Garry's mod. If you are wondering what map is used for the landscape, it is called "gm_boreas_night". For the best experience, I recommend getting some Metroid music, I listen to it all the time while writing this. An Imposter Among Us
"Congratulations, Miss Duri. You're leading the fifty-fifth voyage to Polus." My initial giddiness wore away under a new and frankly uninvited sense of suspicion. Only an hour ago they were set on selecting anyone but me. What made them change their mind so quickly? "We were wrong about you, Genesis," the woman said. "We now believe you have the potential to do what your unlucky peers could not. However, you should know that there is no room for mistakes." Nareem leaned forward and picked up his chin. On a normal basis, he was about as intimidating as a rabbit. Now, though, he was pretty close to the office cat's level. "Don't mess this up for us, Miss Duri. Otherwise the consequences will be a lot worse than death." --- Genesis has always wanted to lead a mission to the Polus Space Station, orbiting a Jupiter moon millions of miles away. While each attempt to get there has been compromised by the scheming, violent Conclave, Genesis's hopes to become the next captain of the Skeld have not once faltered. When she finally gets the opportunity of a lifetime, Genesis quickly discovers that, despite her caution, all is not what it seems. Her superiors have maintained minimal contact, and she has reason to believe any one of her crewmates could be an imposter. Once the killings begin, she must act quickly to outwit the Conclave before she and all her crewmates are murdered in cold blood. --- **The characters are original, but this story is based off a game called Among Us. The concept of spaceship crewmates being killed by an imposter does not belong to me, but to the game developers (Innersloth). Through blood, sweat, and tears, Sparrow will come to understand the harsh truths and difficulties that the universe holds. However, with pain and hardship, there must also be peace and happiness. Will our main character find such luxury and contentment or will he crumble under the obstacles that come his way? Only time will tell.
