We all know that story of the Destroyer and Creator, but for the sake of this story, let's say the Destroyer didn't like destroying Alternative Universes. Let's say they didn't like killing the innocent nor the murderous. Let's say he didn't like who they were nor what they did. For the sake of this story, let's say they made a wish and only had the lost hope of it coming true. Lets say they wished to be forgotten. Let's say it came true.
