16 parts Complete Around 6 months after the coronation of King Ben, Maleficent manages to escape her glass prison as well as return to her original size. However, it is believed that Maleficent was assisted in her disappearance and currently, all evidence points towards Mal.
She has to put up with the constant pressure of being framed as well as fighting for her pride as all mischief breaks loose.
Eventually, Mal cracks under the weight of the hate directed towards her and finds a way to leave everything behind - literally.
Mal has successfully managed to keep away from Auradon, her friends and Ben. And it would've stayed that way, if Maleficent hadn't began attacking Auradon and tried to draw Mal out. So Mal finds a way to return... just not as herself.
