The story is set within Agnes, which is a land divided into three countries. Each country has its difference and significance; Eduan, the nation of erudite. The nation where education prospers; Ignesia, a country of believers. Despite being a nation of God, Ignesia is a nation filled with enormous military might; And Y'lard. The country that most probably holds more military might than Ignesia.

The story starts with Karera and Francine living an academic life to evading the torment of the Ignesian believers whose all-knowing presence seems to emanate from their surroundings themselves and ending with an unexplainable scenario of upsetting feelings.

With the twisted plot on some levels, normal readers might have problems comprehending, a truly thrilling and tragic novel.
