Idalia that's my name pronounced : Ie - Da - Lee -Yah
you would've thought I'd have a nickname by now for such a ridiculous first name, but surprisingly I've never been called anything besides Idalia

I guess everyone liked the name enough to use it frequently, even made up excuses to use it, assuming it made them feel cool to utter those 4 syllables, like they had some sort of knowledge of a foreign language.

Either way people went around uttering my name because they knew it was hands down the most interesting thing about me
