In a world where elves rule the forest, dragons rule the skies, and giants rule the plains humans and warlock are left to fend for themselves. As a young prince and heir to the throne william is forbidden from leaving the kingdom and only human safe haven , but when his father falls ill it is up to him where he may go and what he may do.
As a warlock Alatar was cast out at a young age because of his ancestors mistakes the elves have refused to shelter warlock for hundreds of years. when Alatar is found and left to fend for himself in a forest filled with unforgiving and dangerous mythical creatures.
