After a war that nearly destroyed humanity those left were saved by unlikely heroes, the deities they'd once forgotten. These deities created two new species of human to fight the monsters they'd awoken; Mage's who were tasked with ensuring the remaining humans kept faith in the Gods keeping them on Earth and keeping them from finding out about the monsters in their world and Hunters whose job it was to protect them all.
Rhena Moretti is a Hunter from a long line of Hunters. Just like those before her she attends St. Ecne's Academy where she's been trained in all the ways possible to kill a monster. She thought she knew it all, but as it get's closer to graduation she's beginning to wonder if she ever knew anything at all.
