Kara May-Coulson is a young and upbeat SHIELD agent a large difference from her adoptive mother Agent Melinda May, but much more like her adoptive father Agent Phil Coulson. Kara has grown immensely from her old SHIELD training days, she is now the acting Avengers-SHIELD correspondent, and spends her days regularly breaking up fights between Tony and Steve while somehow handling all the missions piles of paperwork.  Her days are all of the same routines until one day she finds herself pinning her father's killer to the wall with a knife to his throat. 

Loki Friggason has had the same day for the past four years. Wake up in a cage, read, starve, sleep, and repeat. Slowly dying under the imprisonment of Odin, he decides to try a final time to take his future into his own hands. Failing miserably at faking his death, again, his future is still changed dramatically when Odin sends him to Earth with a blade that can slowly but surely give him the most agonizing death possible, to the people who most want him dead. But instead, he soon finds himself pinned against the wall with a kitchen knife threatening his life.
