The Untold Tale of the Sea

After her parents are killed by sirens when she is only 12, Nina is instantly appointed as Queen of the Merpeople. For years the sirens and mermaids have been at a mellow war, but when Nina's son gets in the middle of it, it causes a full-on war, killing almost all the merpeople. Now hidden away from the sirens with what remains of the merpeople, Nina tries to regrow her kingdom as a new king is appointed for the sirens. One day she stumbles across another mermaid queen named Noella. Nina notices she looks familiar to the mermaid who she had met the day her parents had died. When a problem arises, Nina must choose between making her love for Noella public, or forever forgetting her.
