"Clay!"
My body stills upon realizing who's calling out to me. I turn around and see that George is pushing through the crowd looking unbelievably flustered. I walk a bit towards him as he gets closer to me and stop about 3 feet away from him.
"Oh uh h-hey what's up?" i trip over my words.
"It's about me isn't it" George says out of breathe.
My blood runs cold and i poorly attempt to play stupid. "What are you talking about?" George takes a step towards me, "Clay please. The song you just played, you wrote it about me didn't you." he says looking up at me, his eyes not faltering from mine. Fuck.
