In the Red Family (also known as the largest and most elite family) being considered either worthless or talentless is something that is frowned upon. To be publically called something like that almost nails the last coffin in your grave unless some miracle happens (aka, marrying to someone rich before you are twenty one).

Hades since she got pulled out of school by her Mother four years prior has been waiting for her miracle, and told everyday that it was never going to happen.
