"I have some unfortunate news for you," said the man, moving closer to Aidan.
"What's unfortunate?" asked Aidan, inching away.
"It's unfortunate that, you being an undercover officer," said the man, serious, grabbing Aidan's chin, " And me, being a hugely successful, uh, entrepeneur, that we should be mated."
Aidan froze. His cover had just been blown.
"It's also unfortunate," he continued, "That I can no longer let you leave."
"You can't stop me from leaving." said Aidan, calm.
The man's eyes narrowed, his eyes turning wild yellow.
"You'll regret it."

Both families are falling apart and when Liam decides to go away with Jamie's family to see Emma, Jamie's traumatized younger sister; Aiden scrapes up his courage and offers to keep an eye on Jamie. They start growing close again and soon things starts to get really complicated.
