Gabriela Reyes was 14 when she officially joined the Avengers. Tony stark was the one who rescued her from HYDRA at the age of 10. Since then she'd lived with Steve until S.H.I.E.L.D failed, that was when she had to move into the Tower. 

Of course she feels in debt to Tony since he was the one who saved her but they were never close, she wouldn't even call him a friend, in fact, she kind of hated him. He was always there to make her life hard, and he never wasted a moment to let her know that taking her in was the worst mistake of his life.

So when Gabriela falls very quickly in love with Pietro Maximoff, he is the first to have something to say. 

She didn't plan on falling for him, it just kind of happened. Fortunately for her, Pietro felt the same.All Rights Reserved
