She knew what she was, but kept it secret for her own protection. He knew what he was, but didn't think it mattered. Until one day they recognize themselves in a battle for life and death, in which you have to turn into hunters and hunted. Until one day they look each other in the eye and don't know if they're friends or foes. Until one day, everything they had, and the fate of the world, is on knife's edge.

It all started with a superhero, one who vowed to help save the world and use her powers for good....But how can one keep a promise if they don't remember making it? What happens when the lines to right and wrong blur? When promises have to be broken? When the one thing you thought you could never lose, your morality, comes into question. What happens when the only person in the world that understands you is the person you believed was evil. But a reputation can be fabricated, evidence can be tampered and memories can be manipulated. How does one decide who's good and who's bad? Who's the hero and who's a villain? Maybe the only real difference between the two is a change in perspective or perhaps keeping an open mind. Sometimes even a "Villain" has a good side and even a "Hero" has a bad one...so what would happen if they were to see eye to eye?....Who would be there to pull them from the deep end?...or maybe the high tide is exactly where they want to be.
