BEING COMPLETELY RE-WRITTEN
"Maya Hart has never been her own person, all she's ever been is someone's daughter, best friend, friend, lover, or she is just a statistic in a computer.
What will happen when the fragile balance of her life, which she has struggled so hard to maintain, is shattered by one moment of promiscuity-
-That she repeated multiple times!
- Shut your mouth! You might spoil!
-Why are we here, anyways. We aren't even in this story, did the writer just invent us now because she got anxious of not having a description, she did, didn't she?
-It's not really the point of us. Just stick to the script, god damnit!
-Fine, fine.
-That's not your line! Why are you making this mildly comedic when the story won't be funny? He's tiring me, so, here's a warning to young readers and readers sensitive to sexual content, substance consumption-
-What in the world is that?
-You know... Like drugs, cigarettes and alcohol, that kind of stuff. Anyway, there will also be physical and mental abuse, lots of that last one.
-Why does the writer put in such things, i mean you know, can't write about rainbows and fairies, princesses, unicorns?
-Hush! She's right behind you!
-WHY DON'T YOU SHUT YOUR RAINBOW, FAIRY PRINCESS UNICORN BLABBIN' MOUTH! You ruined the description, now no one's going to read this story. Get out of here."
"Hey, heeeEEEEYY! English isn't the writer's first language, so if you see any mistakes tell her.
-It's obviously not her first language.
-Shut up, we are not going through this again! I'm getting too old for this shit."
Maya Hart has had life done the hard way. Broken rules. Broken hearts. That could've been her whole life, if she hadn't met Riley Matthews. Riley is her best friend and has never left her side. There has been nothing that could separate them, unless they like the same boy. But they thought that nothing would go terrible, they were wrong. Although, Maya loves Josh Matthews, the only catch is that he's her best friends uncle and 2 years older. But no one ever said life was easy.
Josh Matthews is a 11th grader longing to grow up. He always wanted to be like his siblings; so mature and so grown up. He stopped wanting to act that way when he finally meets his niece Riley's best friend, Maya Hart. He falls in love with her every time he lays on eyes on her. But there's always that voice in his head who says "You're too old for her...too old for her..."
Lucas Friar is a Texas boy at heart who has learned that it is better to do good than wrong. He learned that the hard way back in the land of the lone star. He moves to New York and becomes friends with Farkle Minkus, Riley Matthews, and Maya Hart who he has an epic crush on. But, her best friend Riley is in love with him, and Maya has never really shown much affection on him, but he is determined to change that.
This new triangle will have its twists and turns, but all is fair in love and war and nothing can go wrong right?
