Historical
The social season, a time where all eligible bachelors and ladies come together for nights of frivolous dancing and times to remember in the hopes of finding their perfect match for courting and eventually marriage. But not everyone is so willing to join in the festivities. Jameson Alexander, the son of an Earl, is a playboy to the most extreme and would much rather be caught dead in the alleyway instead of being forced into the unholiness he considers the social balls. An expert boxer and intelligent beyond years, he will do anything he can to avoid being caught with a woman to court. By any means necessary. Laura Bishop is a headstrong and free spirited woman, captivating to the eye and talented in music and painting. Her dream in life is to become a great artist and tour the world, and she does not look forward to the social season where her father will consistently push her to attend. So what could happen when these two meet? No one can say for sure. But one will agree that it will be a story for the newspapers to write about.

Tired of being ignored by her husband, the powerful Marquis Valentine, Gwen Stratford is ready to take a lover. To her absolute horror, Lord Valentine learns of her plans and unexpectedly whisks her out of London to the Valentine country estate. For two years she has wanted a real marriage, and if he can't offer that, she'll push for a divorce. Anthony Stratford knew his life needed to change, but he didn't realize how desperately until his wife threatens a divorice. It seemed nothing could go right. He was a failure as a husband, and as a marquis. It was time to right the wrongs... and he'd start by wooing his wife. He has no desire to dissolve their marriage, and he convinces her to give him seven days to prove giving their marriage a second chance will be better than petitioning for a divorce. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, can Anthony finally grant Gwen the kind of life she desires? Or will ruination and humiliation rule the season?
