Aleya was a normal teenage girl with a perfectly normal life in her senior year in high school...or so she had thought. Years and years of dormant power was threatening to rupture from within her, and as soon as the clock struck 12 on the night of her 18th birthday, it had just done that, her life destined to change forever.
She had always felt out of touch with reality, sensing a belonging to anything opposing the confined space her mother had called home and the ugly, dull buildings she would rather call a prison than a school.
