SEQUEL TO THEN THERE HE WAS (FORMERLY KNOWN AS MY GREEN-EYED JERK) Sam is a disaster, and it's only been the third week of college. Balancing her studies, work, and her social life, is proving a lot more difficult than she expected. And it all becomes worse when a certain friend of hers-if you could call him that- pops right out of nowhere, determined to get back into her life. Jayden is back, and he'll stop at nothing to get Sam. But with the pressure of college, making the right group of friends, and living life to the fullest, things aren't really looking up for both of them. A relationship, really, might not be what they need. They both fight a battle of misunderstandings, betrayals and heartaches and one can't help but wonder if it's all worth it. But the right decisions are always the hardest to make, and Sam is realizing that just maybe Jayden coming back, wasn't a bad idea after all.

Iris is done with dating. After she's dumped by what she thought to be her high school sweetheart freshman year of college, she devotes the next three and a half years to hookups only. Liam isn't interested in dating. Popular from the basketball team, he's more focused on the sport, his studies, and his family than dating. After a rude and unlikely encounter, the two are thrown into an unhappy situation of being forced to see each other everywhere, thanks to Iris' best friend Marcus being the team captain of the basketball team. Will the two's individual promises of not dating prevail as they learn more about each other, as the hatred grows?
