I’m losing consciousness, and I know it. The world is spinning, slowly becoming blurry and fuzzy, and making me unable to see the road ahead of me. The one that leads me to freedom. To victory. To luxury. The scorching, burning, unbearable heat came at me, wave after wave, harmfully and without hesitation. The sun was bearing down on my back as I rode horseback into the deserted village. I slowed down to take in the view. I squinted at the brightness of the sun, feeling faint and dizzy. I looked up at the clear, blue sky, an eagle was circling above my head, and as I watched, I could feel a sense of someone, or something, watching my every move. I tensed, I turned my left shoulder to look around. Suddenly, I felt a shocking blow at my right ribcage and fell instantly to the ground. The deserted village was gone. A wave of black crossed over my vision and I faded away into darkness.
