Liar's Despair Disease

Hello, everyone reading this! Liar's Despair Disease is gonna be my first fan fiction. It's basically an AU where Kokichi Oma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader, was much more similar to Nagito than he was in the games. However, he was given an "improved" version of the despair disease without anyone else knowing. This causes him to have a lot of trouble telling the truth or making sense, just as Nagito Komaeda did when he had the Despair Disease.

This idea is original and created my me (I am unaware if anyone has thought of this already) and it's mostly a creative way to explain his actions throughout Daganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. This story will contain MASSIVE SPOILERS to Daganronpa V3. Most of this story will be told through Kokichi's POV.

While most of this book will stick to the main story, there will be certain parts that are not canon. However, I will not change the victims or the blackened. This story will keep the basic ideas of the game while still being original. For example, interactions with Kokichi will be altered to fit the concept of the AU, and characters will respond differently because of this. Conversations that never took place in the original game will appear here to fit with the story. This story will not be completely identical to Daganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, but it will keep the basic concept of the game.

WARNING: I am fully aware that Kokichi's actions have a different reason behind them in the canon version of the game, I just thought this would be a fun idea.

What will be included:

-Implied Shuichi x Kokichi (Kokichi canonly has a crush on Shuichi, so this will be shown in the story through Kokichi's perspective. However, that does not mean Shuichi will show mutual feelings)
-Kaede x Shuichi (for the first chapter only)
-Kaito x Maki
-wholesome moments
-detailed descriptions
-several triggers
-swearing

What will NOT be included:

-smut/lemon
-FULL class trials
