Ardor Avery has grown up in Pure Blood Society. As a member of the Sacred 28, Ardor is accustomed to an endless parade of Balls and lavish events. However, Ardor and her best friend, Sirius Black, have always objected to the traditions and prejudice views held by their parents.
Ardor had never given Sirius's younger brother Regulus much thought until starting her sixth year of Hogwarts. Although she initially holds distaste for him and his toleration of the views in Pureblood society, she soon finds that he is much more than what meets the eye. However, she still wonders if that will be enough.

[Regulus black x original muggle character] [enemies to lovers] [kind of a slow burn] Flora, the muggle half-sister of protective older brother Remus Lupin, finds herself hidden away during the First Wizarding War for fear of werewolf attacks. Her life is lonely and quiet until Regulus Black, a former Deatheater and insufferable, arrogant prick, is also in need of sanctuary. I did have a similar concept prior to reading her work, so it's more accurate to say it motivated me to write this. The setup is generally the same, but this story is very different. WizardGod's fic is brilliant and I highly recommend it if you haven't already read it! Barty Crouch Jr. is tagged but he doesn't come into the story until chapter 23.
