Monster Girl Orphanage!

Alex lives his life as a mercenary with his team, an incredibly successful one. One day, he and his crew get the job of a lifetime. A contract that's seemingly easy and with a pay so grand they could all retire early. Needless to say, it doesn't go to plan and Alex is forced to run and escape his pursuers. Years later, he decides that his life of violence is over and opens a orphanage to help the young. But not just any young, specifically ones that are monsters!
Monsters are common in the world and they've managed to fully integrate into human society. Although, they still face challenges and hardships of their own. As orphans, the caretaker will really be the only sort of parental figure to them. Will Alex find resolution in his new pursuit to raise the innocent or will the past he tries so desperately to avoid catch up with him?
