Salem G. Baker spends all her time at school being harassed for her name. It doesn't help that her mother was a witch or that her English class started a new unit about the Salem Witch Trials.
One night, when Salem is at the neighborhood park working on some of her writing, the captain of the football team walks up to her. What confuses Salem about this situation is, not that was there, but that he was being nice.
This story may seem like a cliche, but trust me, it is most definitely not.

Riley's past isn't something most kids go through. Bad things happened, but when she got older, her dad decided it was best to move, and get away from something that seemed to haunt Riley. They moved from Arizona to California. About 1/4 into her junior year, Riley had to go to a new school, and make new friends. She didn't really care about having friends though, as long as she was able to play soccer, she would be okay. Soccer had always been there for her, when her mom died, when she didn't have anyone else, when she was in a bad mood. It was always there for her to play. She didn't need anyone else. That changed when she met Brooke Eckmann. Brooke is also a junior in high school, and is the varsity teams goalie. When they first meet on the field, it was something different. She couldn't stop thinking about her. It was something both of them had never felt before. Not that I don't love that, but this au gives me an opportunity to write about me and my friends OC's with less trauma. Basically this is what would happen if our beans went to a normal school in the middle of somewhere using the Canadian schooling system cause I am uneducated on all the other schooling systems. Captain of the football team (soccer) and pretty much every sport in existence. Death after death in his family has forced him into drug addiction. But he's fine. Right? Dahlia is your stunning no problem partying alcoholic friend. Keeping her past under wraps is kinda her job. That and making sure her brother doesn't get arrested. Matthew may as well not know what the law is because I'm pretty sure he's broken at least half of the rules in there. Narrowly escaping Juvie several hundred times is the best he can do from his sister Dahlia murdering him. Side characters: Alice is a girl who has to be best at everything. She's the smartest girl in her year, but under the pressure of her family she snaps. Mason is kind of the school oddball. He isn't that smart and he's pretty nosy and weird. He's the kind of that is mainly described as a downright idiot. But he's okay when you get to know him.Lengkap
